The IDM of Munich University of Applied Sciences serves as a centralized solution for managing user identities and access rights. It ensures that students, staff, and other university members have secure access to IT systems and services. The IDM automates and simplifies processes such as creating, updating, and deleting user accounts, and facilitates the assignment of permissions based on the various within the university structure.

On 4.3., between 6:45 and vrstl. 7:30 smaller maintenance work done on the eduMFA cluster. In this case, smaller expellors can occur in the authentication process.

Disrupted – Resolved after 10h 30m
Due to a misconfiguration, there was approx. 20:30 and 16.01.2026 approx. 07:00 on internal enquiries to the IDM.
Due to this, individual user changes were processed delayed.
Normal user authentication via Shibboleth/SSO was not affected by this.
